Each and every wedding is, essentially, about the happy couple. But dig a little deeper and you’ll realize: Where would these two individuals be without their family and friends? Exactly. So brides, when it comes to your bridesmaids — the lovely ladies who’ve been there for you through thick and thin — make them feel extra-special by hosting a surprise “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” luncheon! It’s the perfect way to show them your love and appreciation, and — as proven by planner Gail Johnson in the shoot below — it’s far simpler to do than you may think! To keep things playful and girly, Gail selected a color palette comprised of aqua, fuchsia, yellow, orange, and turquoise for this party at home. Boxes of colorful lilies, dahlias, roses, and ranunculus were created for each of the ladies, including a photo of the recipient and a “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” card. Menus for the meal were displayed on a vintage window pane on the fireplace mantel, accompanied by picture frames holding chicken wire and simple, fresh floral arrangements. Following a Chinese meal of sushi, lo mein, rice, and soup shooters, a special fortune cookie was given to each girl containing a personalized message just for her! So bride-to-be, see how easy it is to show your bridesmaids some love with these photos by Inga Finch Photography!
