To us, the best wedding venues turn out to be the least expected option. Sure enough, we couldn’t help but fall in love with this historic railroad museum setting. Alexis Velez and Carlos Gonzalez tied the knot on April 19, 2014 at Savannah wedding venue The Savannah Roundhouse Railroad Museum. Lighting designers from JLK Events transformed the space from a transportation time capsule to an intimate dining setting thanks to long strands of bistro lights and amber uplighting. The bride and her ‘maids clutched lush bouquets of garden roses, ranunculus, dusty miller and roses. Designers at Urban Poppy also created the romantic arrangements of ranunculus, stock, spray roses, tulips and dusty miller lined the long reception dining tables. Vintage elegance meets modern glamour in this timeless wedding captured by Catherine Ritchie Park of Atlanta wedding photographers MyLife Photography.
