There’s something about The Drake Oak Brook that screams sophistication and regality. The iconic setting has been known for decades to be the place to host elaborate weddings and events. Lindsay from P3 Events took the classical location and transformed the European style and inviting atmosphere into a gorgeous setting for a Chicagoland wedding.
The colors of cranberry, purple, green, gold, and white created rich opulence in the outdoor veranda. Hand painted invites, place cards, and menus from Eight21 Studios, colorful flowers from Phillip’s Flowers paired with P3 Events’ tabletop cages to add dimension, and deep gold table accents incorporated this Grecian affair. Toni Patisserie & Cafe’s crisp white wedding cake with gold accents had just the right amount of detail to enhance (and not overwhelm) the partyscape’s details.
From P3 Events… The original inspiration came from the gorgeous outdoor veranda at The Drake Oak Brook. It immediately made me think of Greek Gods. The Grecian-chic, clean lined dinner table on the veranda under the colorful floral mosaic brought a unique twist to this traditional theme.
