“I aimed to create a scene that felt natural with the warm and inviting feel of Abbey Farms. At the same time, I wanted to add elements that both complimented and contrasted the atmosphere. For colors, greenery was going to be a key element, serving as the foundation of the scene. Lavender continues to trend in fashion, flowers, and even hair color; so it was a definite yes on the color palette. As much as I love a soft palette, I’m all about adding drama, so that’s where the navy blue and aubergine tones came into play.”

Details, especially vintage, played a key role. Something Borrowed Rentals amazing vintage place settings added a tremendous amount of interest to the table with varying colors, patterns, and textures. Paired with a simple charger and a solid navy napkin underneath- each place setting was a work of art in its own right.
Kelly Reif Stationary continued with the theme with a charming water color floral and greenery invitation suite. The craft paper enclosure with a lace belly band accented with fresh stems of lavender was completely romantic yet contemporary.
Let them eat cake! Cakefections combined the elements of traditional and trendy in their naked cake meets fondant cake duo. The white fondant was artfully decorated with a delicate frame of hand painted flowers to achieve a gorgeous, one of a kind look. Accompanying the cake were demure and delightful lavender mini cakes.
Jasmine Galleria Floral and decor created a dreaming and surreal look with hanging greening. Larger than life succulents were absolutely captivating surrounded by glowing lanterns and dusty lavender roses.
