This is one of the most romantic engagement shoots I’ve ever seen. Not only because this cute couple is so totally in love, but because both the location of the session and the different items included in it are of such significance to the pair! This time was truly all about them! Meghan and Drew met online, and the first date was all it took for each of them to know they had met “the one.” It was three months later, on a fall evening with clear, starry skies, that Drew proposed to Meghan at Chastain Park, and that is exactly where their engagement shoot took place. The quilt on which Drew knelt to propose as well as another belonging to Meghan’s grandmother were both used in many of the shots, and even the couple’s two dogs (aka, their “babies”) enjoyed some time in front of the camera. Drew is passionate about his work as a firefighter — these sweethearts have shared many meals together at the station! — so it was only natural to include pieces of his gear during the session. But Meghan’s favorite part of the day? When photographer Kelly stumbled upon a heart-shaped piece of wood sitting beneath the ‘engagement tree.’ “I love the pictures she captured (with it), and now that wood is hanging on our front porch!” Images by Atlanta wedding photographer Kelly Lane Photography!
