Elegant Destination Wedding at The Modern Honolulu in Honolulu, Hawaii
A warm Aloha welcomed Sarah and James to Honolulu, Hawaii for their springtime wedding. The ceremony was held on the Sunset pool’s white sand at Honolulu wedding venue The Modern Honolulu. The aisle was lined with circle wicker baskets topped with white orchids, hydrangeas, and blush roses arranged by The Floral Boutique. A memorable first look took place before the couple united as one at the altar. The bride looked beautiful in an ivory floral laced strapless A-line gown with matching laced veil. Her groom styled a sleek black tuxedo as well as the groomsmen. The bridesmaids wore assorted bright purple floor length gowns from Light in The Box. The waterfront reception space was coated with white chiffon drapery to match the table runners. The simplicity of the decor made the purple color scheme thrive. The newlyweds changed into cultural attire and performed a Korean ceremonial tradition. The bride received a piggyback ride from the groom, as a symbol of his strength and support of their journey through life together. After, guests enjoyed a classic two tier cream circle cake topped with pink cottage roses crafted by Cake Works. Hawaii wedding photographer Rachel Robertson Photography captured all the sweet moments during the destination affair.
