Aqua. Fuchsia. Lime green and orange. All of these bright, bold colors scream of the tropics, and that is why bride Tara chose to use them (along with white) for her summer wedding at the Gulf of Mexico! The attire of groom and groomsmen was perfect for the beach setting, Jim clad in an aqua shirt and white suit while his friends were more casual in their short sleeve shirts and khaki pants. Long, vibrant blue dresses were worn by the bridesmaids, and the bride looked like a princess with her exquisite headpiece and beautifully detailed white gown! Following an intimate waterside ceremony on the pristine shores of Destin, Tara and Jim remained on the beach so Alexis Rubenstein could capture some breathtaking shots of the newlyweds. Dinner was served buffet style under the shade of Jetty East‘s beachfront pavilion, and the sun set quietly in the background as toasts of love and well wishes were made to the happy couple. Absolutely in love with the bouquets at this wedding! The combination of lilies, roses, and orchids used is so colorful and exotic!
White wooden folding chairs, some marked with aqua ribbon bows for family, faced a bamboo arbor decorated with soft fabric and bright flowers.
The same flowers used for the wedding bouquets graced the tables at the reception. They also adorned the three tier wedding cake prepared by Kim’s Cakes!
