Colorful Fall Wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California
When it came time for Rebecca and Harry to plan their big day, the couple knew they wanted a simple and fun affair. The couple’s wedding day began with a heart warming first look on The Calamigos Ranch‘s romantic bridge, the groom wearing a gray tuxedo with a peach gingham bow tie and pocket square and the bride in a beaded Maggie Sottero gown. After sharing sweet sentiments and a few stolen kisses, the bride and groom met again at the altar, surrounded by their closest friends and family members. After the ‘I do’s, guests showered the newlyweds with celebratory dried lavender as they walked hand in hand hand down the aisle. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour before the newlyweds and the wedding party joined the party for a sit down dinner, where vintage movie inspired – a nod to the couples’ film industry careers – and delicate floral centerpieces by Commerce Flowers awaited. Careful not to overpower the beauty of their venue, planners Viv and Pam of LoveAnneJoy Design + Events opted to keep decor to a minimum, allowing the grand oak, dripping in twinkle lights, to take center stage. By the glow of candle and string lights, guests danced the night away to the sounds of Hey Mister DJ. Grabbing a set of oars, the bride and groom managed to sneak away in a romantic paddle boat as the sun began to set over the ranch’s lake. Mora Creative Studio captured all the sweetness and joy that exuded throughout the couple’s big day.
