The essence of fall was in the air during Erin and Jimmy’s September evening wedding. The sun’s glowing rays peaked over the San Diego mountain tops as it began to set during the ceremony. San Diego wedding venue Carlton Oaks Golf Course provided a shady green landscape for the the couple to unite in holy matrimony. The groom, in his khaki tux with a chocolate tie, waited under a simple white wooden altar for his bride. She looked radiant in a beaded bodice halter ball gown from David’s Bridal, with her blonde locks in soft curls styled by Roccoforte Hair Designs. Her father’s ashes were incorporated into her bouquet as she carried him with her down the aisle. Matching his and her diamond infused wedding bands were exchanged before the first kiss took place. The bridesmaids wore chocolate silk knee length dresses to match the groomsmen’s chocolate ties. Wild Orchid Florist created beautiful arrangements of sunflower, carnation, gerbera daisy, and rose mixes. Hues of orange and garnet decor gave the theme it’s seasonal touch. Before the reception took place, guests were asked to personalize a Jenga game piece for the guestbook. Every time the game is played, the couple gets to relive their perfect wedding day. A tasty three tier cupcake cake scattered with matching floral was the main dessert. San Diego wedding photographer Brit Jaye Photography snapped the couple’s extraordinary day.
