Banquet Hall wedding venues offer a convenient, often inexpensive, option for getting married in your local community. You can find a banquet hall inside a budget friendly hotel, community center or a location specifically built to host weddings on a budget.
Banquet hall wedding venues often feature large event rooms with standard lighting, minimal decor and basic rentals. You won’t find chiavari chairs and linens included in this type of wedding venue, instead the space will likely only include metal folding chairs and tables. If you want to keep your wedding venue expenses low, a banquet hall is the perfect choice. You can improve the look of the space for your party by bringing in balloons, event drapery to cover unsightly walls, and event lighting.
You’ll want to ask the location coordinator about specifics you need to be aware of for the event rental… is there any help with setting up on the day of? Who is responsible for the clean-up after the party? Is alcohol allowed on-site? Does the alcohol have to be provided by the hall or can you bring it in? Do you have to choose a caterer that is approved by the venue?
While you won’t find all the bells and whistles of the grandest ballrooms, a banquet hall is the perfect place to have an inexpensive, convenient wedding reception for large and small guest lists.
