Soft and Feminine Quinceañera Inspiration
For hispanic young ladies, it’s not their wedding days they daydream about first — it’s their quinceañeras! And while many of these celebrations nowadays boast a more hip and colorful flair, photographer Candy Acosta wanted to remind the world that soft colors and elegant femininity are always in style, especially when it comes to quinceañeras. Brimming with pink linens, golden utensils, roses & hydrangeas, and a cake too sweet for words, this pretty shoot is most definitely a dream come true for the teenage girl with a traditional taste. And the dazzling pink quinceañera gown from Mori Lee? Well, let’s just say it completely stole my breath away! Soak in this gorgeous inspiration with these images by Candy Acosta Photography!
THEME
My original inspiration was elegant Midsummer’s Night Dream, but being that we live in Seattle we had to move it indoors where it wasn’t windy and raining.
COLORS
Pink, white and gold
FLOWERS
Roses, tulips, lilies of valley (hand bells), peonies and hydrangeas
PERFECT FOR
A classy girl who likes traditional elegance.
SIGNATURE COCKTAIL
Starlight Royale for the adult guests and Pink Lemonade for minors.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
Because pink is a color that represents youth and is very popular for Quinceaneras, it can be used year around. It’s a good idea to work with an event designer to help you plan and coordinate a color palette.
WHAT TO WEAR
The model wore a pink Mori Lee Quinceanera dress from their Vizcaya collection (88021).
TAKE IT UP A NOTCH
A fun thing to add is a photo booth; very popular with guests and a Quinceanera favor.
