Red, Romantic Rehearsal Dinner Inspiration
Crimson. For centuries this deep red has been used to signify passion and love, making it a very apt and very popular color choice for weddings. But why limit the romanticism of this color to only your nuptials? Exactly the thoughts of Eliana Baucicault. That is why ellyB Events, with the help of some other talented vendors, planned and designed a shoot which proves that using crimson, paired with black, can bring an extra aura of romance to an intimate rehearsal dinner! Set up at the Cafe Intermezzo, this tablescape was truly a delight to behold! An elegant satin linen adorned the tabletop. Ebony cups and vases containing arrangements of red and fuchsia roses, anemones, and dahlias — put together by Gertie Mae’s Floral Studio — acted as centerpieces, as did tall wine bottles holding glowing black candles. Other smaller candles were scattered here and there about the table illuminating place cards scripted in a golden ink. The cafe itself prepared tasty cuisine for the shoot including chicken Florentine, spicy tortellini Alfredo, and grilled salmon, accompanied by a sweet pomegranate martini.
