Marie and her husband, Derrick, were thrilled when they discovered they were expecting a baby boy, and their families, just as excited, threw a coed baby shower for the couple at the restaurant Mangia. Knowing that, with the parents’ personalities, the child was sure to be a dapper baby, the families decided on the theme of “little man” for the celebration; however, as the planning progressed and and they saw how many words beginning with “B” were being used throughout the event — bow ties, balloons, and the child’s own name of Benjamin — the “B” theme for the shower was born! The restaurant’s interior was filled to the brim with blue, brown, and green decor. Signs and labels throughout the space promoted the “B” theme, such as the “B is for Beer” and “B is for Bellini” signs at the refreshments counter. Planner Cassandre Snyder even created cute paper bags to hold the bread at each place setting that read “B is for Bread.” The letter “B” topped each cupcake from Cakes By Shai, and a party favor of bundt cake was offered to guests inside little brown”B” building blocks. “B” sure to join in the fun of this baby shower with these photos by Rita Rojas-Sullivan Photography!
