Although already impressed with the giant runway-turned-carousel for Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2012 fashion show, I was more excited about the laser cut lace tops, skirts, and dresses. From clothing to invitations, to trinkets, to bags, I’m kind of OBSESSED with anything and everything laser cut. The delicate designs of laser cutting is perfect for… well, anything! Just check out these ideas:
Buntings are festive decorations made of fabric, plastic, paper, or even cardboard. They’re typically decorated with different sizes, designs, and colors, but this beautiful laser cut bunting hits it out of the park. The delicate floral and butterfly cutouts are stylish and festive – perfect for a birthday party, a wedding, or a Mother’s Day celebration. (via Creature Comforts Blog)
Accent your event with these gorgeous cupcake liners. These ivy vine designed liners would look beautiful with your cupcakes, whether they’re sitting on your cupcake stand or given to guests as party favors. (These laser cut cupcake liners might even outshine the cupcakes!) Looking for a way to get that “WOW” factor from your guests? Look no more! (Via Etsy – Lisa Su)
Everyone dreams of a Happily Ever After… but how great would it be to bring the fairytale home after the big event? Gift your guests with treats all wrapped up in this Cinderella inspired laser cut favor box. Personalize the side of the carriage, and you’re all set! (via Etsy – Kat Blu Studio)
I saw these invitations and immediately fell in love. These invitations, designed by Amy of Saint Gertrude Design and Letterpress in Australia feature a laser cut tree overlay on top of a two color letterpress printed invitation. It gives the whole set a rustic and chic vibe. The bottom of the tree also has a heart shaped cut out that shows the couple’s initials (like cravings on a tree)! How precious, don’t you think?
