Describe your design aesthetic.
I adore simple clean imagery that is timeless.
Where do you find inspiration?
I often find inspiration in people. Everyone has such a unique joy within them and having the opportunity to document that is such a blessing. I love roaming around new areas, and I often find inspiration in seeing something for the first time.
Who do you follow/who inspires you?
Goodness, there are so many people that inspire me! I try to follow along with creative’s in other industries as well as our own. Some of my favorites include, Lara Casey, Marie Forleo and Elizabeth Messina.
How did you get started in the business?
I’ve always loved photographing people and during my Junior year of college I was asked to photograph my first wedding. I was terrified and tried to turn it down, but after some consideration decided to go for it. I did as much research as I possibly could and started second shooting with a talented local photographer. After my first wedding one of the couples friends asked me to photograph their wedding and my business slowly began to grow.
What is the best advice you’ve been given?
If you build your business on loving and serving others you’ll always have a job to do.
What are your goals for 2015?
In 2015 I am travelling as such as possible, connecting with other creatives and shooting along the way! I recently launched a print shop full of my personal travel images and I can’t wait to add more pieces as the year progresses.
