Kathleen and Matthew took an untraditional approach to their wedding day at the Douglasville, Georgia wedding venue, Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club. The bride spent the morning with her one bridesmaid, while they got their hair and makeup done by Brushworx. The bride then slipped into her white, A-line, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline she found at . After she was dressed and her hair was twisted into the perfect up-do, Kathleen made her way down the aisle to Matthew who accessorized his tux with a yellow boutonnière and converse sneakers. After the outdoor ceremony, guests were invited to the indoor reception where they munched on appetizers catered by Atlanta’s Finest Catering and delicious desserts from Small Cakes Cupcakes, and Honeysuckle, a gelato truck in Atlanta. Small bouquets of white and yellow flowers arranged by the brides family sat atop each table in mason jars, enhancing the rustic vibe of the evening. The bride and groom wanted guests to have a fun, relaxed time at the reception, which is why they incorporated lawn games created by the groom and a surprise movie guests watched under the stars. Atlanta based wedding photographer Katie Snyder Photography managed to capture every moment of Kathleen and Matthew’s big day.
