The wedding of Sam and Noah was held at the stunning Atlanta area wedding venue The Chimneys at Big Canoe, a simply elegant affair that brought those they loved the most together to witness their vows as man and wife. The July day was gorgeous as Sam walked down the aisle dressed in a gown of sophisticated southern charm by BHLDN, alongside her bridesmaids in dresses by Free People. Their vows were recited from the heart, their sweet, two-year-old little lady watching up at them all the while. It was a perfect blending of the gorgeous surroundings of Big Canoe and the hand-made details Sam and her bridesmaids constructed with the ceremony, leading into a cocktail hour where guests enjoyed Popcorn Factory treats, followed by a reception complete with gourmet delights by Talk of the Town. The Buzzard Mountain Boys played music that kept everyone dancing to bluegrass tunes, while a cornhole tournament lasted long into the night. Tell us about your experience photographing the event.
Noah and Samantha’s wedding was such a joy to be a part of. Every detail of the event was infused with their playful, casual style, and they chose to spend the day connecting with family and friends rather than focusing on things.
Were there any unique details that you enjoyed working with?
Samantha and Noah were intentional about selecting details that were true to their personalities and style. The two of them love to relax and enjoy time with family, so I love that Noah chose to wear blue jeans instead of dress pants. It was a perfect fit.
What was one of your favorite moments to capture at the event?
Noah & Samantha’s daughter was invited to stand with her parents during the ceremony, and I loved photographing her as she toddled around their legs during the vows and peered over the top of the table during their sand ceremony.
