Remember the elegant beach wedding decor we shared with you ten days ago? Well, watch the same space at Naples, Florida’s top hotel wedding venue, Hilton Naples miraculously transform into a scene of timeless beauty dreamed up, once again, by destination wedding specialist, Stephanie Meiser! The ballroom was loveliness itself. Lace table runners drifted across dark wooden tables, glowing white candles providing an atmosphere of classic elegance and warmth. Silver utensils and chargers gleamed with refinement while creamy arrangements of roses and hydrangeas stood tall in mixed metal holders at each table’s center. And the perfect touch of glitz in this exquisite tablescape? Sparkly sequin chair covers. Photos of this stunning yet versatile look are brought to you by Southwest Florida based wedding photography, Hunter Ryan Photo!
Chic, timeless with a touch of sophistication and glitz. Versatile look for almost any venue.
Whites, creams, mixed metals with a touch of silver sparkle. A touch of link pink in the centerpieces and brides bouquet.
Hydrangeas, roses and tulips. Peonies for the bouquet.
ITEMS TO INCORPORATE
Eclectic mixed metals to hold both candles and florals in various sizes and shapes. Vintage Flatware will add that subtle yet striking touch to your place setting. Incorporating both lace and the sequin gives it a glamorous, elegant touch. Keeping the flowers to the subtle whites and creams will allow the other décor to stand out. The dark wood tables and chairs are a must to have as a base for the textures of the different decor pieces.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
You will want to consider the height if the ceilings and size of the room before choosing to have tall centerpieces on each table. Not every venue is suited for tall arrangements. You might want to incorporate shorter arrangements in a similar style on some tables. Do a mock up with a table of the same size. When using larger “king” tables you want to make sure that you have enough décor so as to not look sparse. Do a few groupings of three, and remember to incorporate candles too! Using different textures such as the lace and sequin add to the overall eclectic yet romantic look of each table.
In keeping with the style of the event I would recommend having a cream based signature cocktail with a rim of edible glitter! White Russian or White Lady would be great choices. If its around the holiday time you can get creative with “snow” or “winter” style cocktails, which would be perfect to add a touch of edible glitter too!
This design is perfect for the bride who wants to have a timeless, elegant feel to her wedding day. This look is so versatile that it can be used in just about any venue.
WHAT TO WEAR
Cocktail attire would be the attire of choice for such an event. It would be within the realm to have it be formal attire also, if you so choose.
