From the beginning, Tori and David knew their wedding was the perfect opportunity for a family get-away. While living in New York City has its perks, the couple thought a break from the hustle and bustle of the city would be nice change of pace for their wedding day. As they searched the east coast for the perfect venue that encompassed their vision for the wedding and the right amount of space for their guests, the couple looked to Anne Bone of Anne Bone Events, a Savannah based wedding planner, for guidance. The couple decided upon the exclusive Ford Plantation, a wedding venue in Richmond Hill, Georgia. With it’s classic southern elegance and riverfront views, this venue was the perfect place for the team at Beachview Event Rentals to transform this historic venue into the perfect place for an elegant southern affair. The bride wore an elegant, ivory lace trumpet gown by designer Anne Barge with her blonde tresses in soft romantic curls. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony among friends and family in front of the main house, where the bride was escorted down the aisle holding a vibrant bouquet of calla lilies arranged by Kiwi Fleur. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests met for an elegant tent wedding reception. The vibrant theme of the day carried into the reception where fresh Juliet Garden Roses adorned the tiered wedding cake by KM Cake Designs. The couple danced the night away to the sounds of The Maxx Band and exited the dance floor for the first time as newlyweds while guests congratulated them with a bubble-filled send-off. Donna Von Bruening was there to capture every moment of the couples’ big day.
