What happens when you combine a bride with amazing style and a groom with amazing dance moves? This wedding!
Katherine and Mark’s wedding was the definition of whimsical elegance and fun. Every single detail of their wedding contributed to the vision of these two newlyweds. Their charming venue, Heritage Prairie Farm, provided the perfect backdrop for their event made up of beautiful colors and textures.
Wedding colors were a mix of blushes, peach, and mint. Katherine described the theme of the wedding as whimsical and vintage.
The couple wanted the day to feel relaxed, and while they were in love with the farm setting, they didn’t want the decor or focus to be overly rustic. They loved the idea of the whimsical touches juxtaposed with the outdoor backdrop. The result was stunning!
Elite Photo describes the couple’s decor as an elegant carnival walking through the tent filled with oversized balloons that Mark and Katherine decorated with ribbons to match the palette of the day.
The bride wore a blush Kelly Faetanini gown with eclectic accessories and some beautiful Juliette garden roses in her hair. The floral was provided by Town and Country Gardens and featured large Cafe Au Lait dinner plate dahlias, more garden roses, and blushing bride (how perfect!) Bridesmaids wore blush dresses of their choosing and the guys wore gray suits with a selection of different bluish and green ties.
A favorite part of the couple’s day was their home-made selfie booth decked out in their wedding colors. Located in the goat barn, it wouldn’t have been complete without goats and a donkey! Other favorite details were the floral wreath hanging over the dance floor, the cobalt vases at the reception, and the naked cake from The Sugar Path and dessert bar. Dinner and dessert was served on vintage miss-matched china from the farm.
Mark + Katherine could not be more perfect for one another — at the beginning of the day, Mark even sent her a giant bouquet of peonies, along with a stack of love notes as a wedding day gift. The groom knows his bride well!
