When Jessica and Christopher envisioned their wedding day, it was all about the personal touches. With Laura Helm of Ashton Events’ guiding hand, their vision became a reality. Before the big day arrived, the bride and groom put pen to paper and wrote a personal note to every wedding guest. Upon their arrival, guests picked up the handwritten sentiments and found their way to a seat under the shady palm trees for the outdoor ceremony held on Sarasota wedding venue The Powel Crosley Estate grounds. The bride and groom exchanged vows in the presence of their 75 closest friends and family members before walking hand in hand under a shower of celebratory confetti. After the ‘I do,’ guests followed glittering sidewalk art toward a peg board escort card display. Once they found their seats, guests kicked back and enjoyed an al fresco dining experience, catered by Good Food Catering Company. The newlyweds cut into their three-tier modern geometric wedding cake, designed by Hands on Sweets, before diving into a dessert table complete with a dozen different sweet treats. A custom espresso cart and late night bites fueled the high-energy dance party led by LA DJ Mike Cruz of The Flashdance that stretched late into the night.
