Madison, Georgia Wedding at The Farmhouse Inn by Our Labor of Love
When Nicole Lehrer and Jason Stanaland said “I do,” they were determined to have an October wedding full of personality that honored all their family and friends. They worked with Sharon Fisher, of It’s My Party, Inc. to bring their dream to life, and selected Madison, Georgia’s farmhouse nature preserve wedding venue, The Farmhouse Inn as their venue. The couple had access to everything on the property, including The Farmhouse Inn itself, a lake, a barn filled with farm animals, a huge bonfire pit and an old fashioned swing hanging from a gigantic oak tree. Their big day featured several vintage inspired touches, like a display of individual flowers in Nikki’s collection of old glass bottles, and framed photos of family members from years past. For favors, heart shaped birdseed hung from silk ribbon, ready for guests to pluck and bring home. Both Nicole and Jason are vegan, so the reception featured vegan food alongside other options for the guests, all from Hallie Jane’s. The dessert table, though, was filled with treats provided by the couple’s own family and friends. Each confection was labeled with a flag identifying the dessert and chef, like “Aunt Betty’s Apple Pie.” Images by Atlanta wedding photographer, Our Labor of Love.
