Brimming with family heirlooms and personal details, the secret garden style wedding of Bailey and Nils was one of vintage elegance with unique, contemporary twists. Held on the North Florida property of the bride’s parents, their yard beautifully overlooking a marsh, the big day was flooded with October sunshine. The excited couple shared a secluded first look before the ceremony, Bailey beaming in her custom-made bridal gown of lace by Daniel Thompson Bridal. As a single chandelier suspended from tree branches overhead, the pair were wed in an intimate outdoor ceremony before their closest family and friends, exchanging personal vows they had written themselves. Catering by Liz Grenamyer provided a delicious reception meal, ivory tablecloths, elegant roses, and chalkboard signs giving a charming antique vibe to the dining scene. Inside the library, a dessert gallery was on display offering a variety of cakes and sweets made by the groom, the chocolatier and pastry chef at St. Augustine’s Crème de la Cocoa. Following dancing to the tunes of the band Now is the Time, everyone gathered for the wedding’s grand finale: a fireworks display on the edge of the property. Showered with confetti from party poppers, the newlyweds made their departure in a pedicab, smiling from ear to ear. Photos by Jacksonville wedding photographers Flora + Fauna!
