It’s hard to imagine so much blooming in the middle of winter, but Orlando wedding planners at Blush by Brandee Gaar revived the spring season at Brianna and Benjamin’s December wedding at the beloved Orlando-area wedding venue The Club at Bella Collina. Traditional Christmas and winter colors had never appealed to Brianna; she had always envisioned her wedding in gorgeous pinks and golds. So with the bridesmaids and groomsmen festooned in black, the bundles of lush eucalyptus, pink garden roses, white hydrangeas, and berries by Lee James Floral Designs stood in stark and elegant contrast. Brianna was radiant in a lace, off the shoulder gown that had been custom made to fulfill all her princess fantasies. Their 250 closest friends and family sitting on pews bought from a church in Tennessee, the bride and groom stood hand in hand under a floral arbor while their family priest pronounced them man and wife. When the ceremony came to a close, guests made their way to the atrium for a cocktail hour featuring a scotch bar and a selection of flatbreads. Throughout the event were boxwood adornments that highlighted the couple’s family history. Instead of numbers, each table was identified by a place that the couple cherished. This plethora of personalized accents were designed and created by Chalk Shop Events. The reception consisted of a seated dinner followed by the cutting of the cake by The Sugar Suite as well as a dessert and cocoa bar by Two Sweets Bake Shop. The unexpected nip of the winter air was easily warded off by pink and white pashmina scarves and dancing to the music of The Leonard Brothers Band. When the evening came to a close, the guests lined up with confetti poppers to see the bride and groom off to their new life together. Best Photography, an Orlando husband-wife wedding photography duo captured the couple’s special day on camera, while White in Revery created a reel for the couple to relive their special day for years to come.
