There is so much about this fall wedding at Fishermen’s Inn that we just love! This couple loves the outdoors and originally even wanted to get married in Colorado, but logistically decided it would be better to stay local. They decided on the unique and newly remodeled Fishermen’s Inn in Elburn because it was close and had everything they were looking for in a comfortable venue for their guests. This wedding surely will inspire you!
The bride’s custom-tailored, off the shoulder gown from The Crystal Bride fit her perfectly. Tiffany walked down the flower-covered aisle (provided by Floral Expressions & Gifts) wearing a headband made from her mother’s gown along with her mother’s earrings. The groom wore a dark blue Men’s Wearhouse suit and had the biggest smile as Tiffany walked arm and arm with her father to her very near future husband.
The beautiful indoor ceremony location with it’s surrounding floor to ceiling windows allowed guests to look out over the pond and beautifully manicured grounds during the vows. It was pretty much the perfect fall day. (The couple did a first look before the ceremony — check out Jon’s lovingly reaction!)
Other details of the evening included a late night popcorn bar, a photo booth, and so many sunflowers. Cakefections provided the rustic, all white cake. So fun.
The couple are giant football fans, too, so he had a Steelers cake and she kept up with the Colts game throughout the night. Elite Photo says, “Our favorite moment: the surprise choreographed dance her and her father did as their first dance.” Guests didn’t leave the party empty handed either. They took home with monogrammed coasters as party favors.
