Michael and Casey are the kind of couple who make you want to fall in love over and over again. Their story is the classic boy meets girl, and their complete adoration for one another is probably the first thing I noticed when looking at their engagement session shot by Atlanta wedding photographer Tessa Marie Photography. Taken outdoors in the loveliest afternoon light, I invite you to take a quick break from the afternoon realities that may be before you and bask in the sweetness of this young love!
Tell us how you met: Michael and I met at Watkinsville First Baptist Church in Athens, GA. We met in the college sunday school class through some mutual friends. After church he persuaded me to go to lunch with him and some friends. I accepted the offer and had an awesome time. Don’t think I stopped laughing once! 😉 Since then, we hung out with friends and got to know each other. Eventually we started dating and got engaged a year later!
Can you give us an overview of the wedding? Michael and I are getting married in the Sanctuary at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Ga. It will be a traditional wedding ceremony and the reception will be right after the service at the Swan Coach House.
What are the playful twists to make the event unique? The playful twists that are making the event unique are the photo booth, live band, and we plan on “Calling the Dawgs” towards the end of the reception. This is a tradition for UGA fanatics. Both Michael and I graduated from UGA, and I also cheered there for three years.
What are the honeymoon plans? Sandals resort in Negril, Jamaica. Can’t wait!!
