College sweethearts Michelle and Yung’s intimate fall wedding took place at the Agave Road Estates in Houston, Texas. The couple decided upon an intimate outdoor ceremony for their closest friends and family to witness their union. Their love story began when the two met as freshman in college, Yung chose their anniversary as the perfect time to pop the big question. After planning the perfect proposal, Michelle and their dog Yuki had other plans. Michelle said this of the moment she knew Yung intended to propose, “Yung had the ring in his jacket pocket, and was planning to ask me while standing on the middle of a bridge over the water. But, while we were walking, I felt cold so I put my hand in his pocket and found the ring by accident! He had to ask me then and there while our dog was running around us in circles. I loved it.” The wedding took place on a beautiful day in December with their dog Yuki as an honorary guest. The bride spent the morning with her bridesmaids getting ready inside a suite at the Estate before sharing a first look with the groom. For the ceremony, the bride wore an elegant ivory lace gown by Badgley Mischka paired with royal blue stilettoes for a pop of color. Michelle was escorted down the petal adorned aisle by her father as she carried a cascading bouquet of violet orchids and red cymbidiums arranged by Agave Brothers floral designs. After the ceremony, the couple and their guests headed inside for the reception and danced the night away to the sounds of The Wedding Show String Quartet. As the couple cut the three-tiered cake designed by Edible Designs by Jessie, Kimberly Chau Photography was there to capture the highlights of the night on film.
