Things to love about today’s real wedding (besides the adorable couple, of course): taupe and cream draping contrasted with exposed brick interiors, the glow of twinkle lights, the natural elegance of their outdoor ceremony…and on and on it goes. Christine and Jameson planned a beautiful Autumn wedding at the RiverMill Event Center in Atlanta, GA with so many details to love, we had to make a whole gallery for them! Can you give us an overview of the event? Gorgeous southern wedding at an old converted cotton mill on the Chattahoochee River in Georgia.
Was there a specific theme or style? Southern vintage charm
What were the playful twists that made your event unique? The venue was breathtaking. It was a twist on old Southern tradition with new unique modern touches.
Did you DIY any of the details? All the invitations, favors, wedding programs, bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts.
Tell us about the food and desserts! The food and desserts were provided by Jamie Keating who is a world famous chef who has competed in the culinary Olympics. He designed a menu that was a combination of our favorite things. Southern food like shrimp and grits were paired with Italian food that highlighted our background.
What kind of energy did your entertainment give the event? They made everyone want to dance. Our band was incredible! The dance floor was crowded with happy people inspired by love
If there was one thing you could change, what would it be? I wish we could relive the evening again and again!
Tell us how you met & how he proposed! We met while in college at the University of Georgia and were best friends before dating. We loved each other for over a year before dating. We took a weekend trip to Charlotte, NC the week before Christmas and Jamie proposed on one knee after an incredible day of traveling the city and tree trimming.
What were the honeymoon plans? We traveled to St. Lucia and stayed at a resort for the week.
