Yuan and Steven’s Chinese American wedding was held at Four Oaks Manor , an outdoor/ private residence wedding venue near Buford, Georgia on March 24th, 2012 captured by Atlanta, GA wedding photographer Chelsea Patricia Photography. The couple picked the venue for it’s old southern charm and invited only family members and close friends to the wedding to keep the ceremony, reception and an after party intimate. The couple infused many cultural details into their event and had their guests sign their names on a Chinese calligraphy scroll rather than a traditional guest book. Yuan says “I wanted a good mix of western and Chinese styles. I had been looking at all kinds of dresses. Finally I found one on one of the celebrities from China, which was just what I wanted — a classy western style with some Chinese, red-colored details. So my mom ordered one for me from China and brought it to the US for our wedding. For the reception, I wore an all red, Chinese style outfit. It was my favorite.” Over all, the wedding was a great combo of American and Chinese, also a great mix of family and friends.
