Eliana Baucicault is the lead planner and designer behind Atlanta party planner, ellyB Events. She says ” I take my time ensuring that each event results in a replica of my client’s vision. I am a firm believer that no two events should be the same! Being the extrovert that I am, I enjoy working with all of my clients and often tend to miss them once the event is over. Luckily I end up welcoming them into my life as lifetime friends!” Enjoy a taste of Eliana’s fabulous work in the following photos by Nadia D. Photography. The color palette for this striking shoot? Blush and blue.
Layers of feminine tulle and delicate appliqued details make this dress from Anne Barge a breathtaking beauty! The style of the dress, its nod to traditional elegance with a twist of modern flair in the ribbon belt and other accessories are perfectly suited for Eliana’s entire shoot that possesses a similar bent.
“We choose the Freight Depot because we love the rustic and yet glamour that can be brought into the space,” said designer Eliana Baucicault. “So many people think that once you have a venue that has exposed brick, you are instantly in a rustic venue. This isn’t true! It’s actually a blank palette that you can make glam with the right decor in detail.”
Editor’s Note: Like Eliana, we think that the venue style is in the eye of the beholder. Don’t rule out an event space because you’re unsure of how to decorate it. Talk to an event planner or designer who can help bring your vision to life!
Lucite first came on the wedding and special event scene in the form of invitations, and we loved it. Now, Lucite has morphed into so many more fabulous functions! Eliana used the material throughout her table design: from the art deco inspired lamps to the ghost chairs to the sky high vases. Note: Working in a small space? Like home décor, Lucite is a great way to make a smaller room feel bigger since you are tricking your eye into seeing only a trace of the furniture!
There have been many weddings that have come across our desk, but we have to admit that we’ve never seen a napkin as unique as this. Letterpress by Paper Parfait, Inc., makes this a truly one of a kind linen. If you’re looking for a wow factor, this is it!
Editor’s Note: Loving this Sea Sponge turquoise charger from BBJ Linen and color palette? Our Winter 2012 issue featured an entire color story on teal, including this very plate.
Eliana used GOBO lighting to add drama and flair to the brick walls of the Freight Depot. GOBO lighting lets you choose a motif, design or monogram that fits your special day, converts it into a sort of light-like stencil and then casts the design on surrounding walls, floors….even furniture! We love the abstract woodland feel her lighting gives the space.
