A lush garden ceremony, lots of elegance and glamour and a striking palette of black and ivory. These were the things wedding planner Courtney Gabelbauer of Fabulously Chic Weddings desired for her own Florida wedding, and those dreams sprang to life in a big way the day she married her fiancé, Jim, at The Club at Grandezza, a Fort Myers wedding venue. Courtney was stunning in her satin ballgown from Allure, the rest of the wedding party keeping things classy in sleek black attire. A bouquet of pale peonies and ranunculus by Floral Symphony in her hands, the bride was filled with nervous excitement as she descended a staircase and was escorted across the garden to marry her soulmate, vows exchanged beneath a breathtaking arch draped in delicate fabric and flowers. After enjoying a cocktail hour on the terrace, all ventured indoors for the reception, black escort cards in gold metallic calligraphy leading guests to their seats at tables bedecked in sparkling La Tavola linens. Black candelabras and vases boasted creamy blooms while candles glowed with warmth and magic. Food stations offered entrees including pasta and prime rib, the wedding cake from Kakes by Karen an utterly chic and delicious conclusion to the meal. Entertainment from Stereophonic DJs kept the party going for hours, helping make the celebration a day never to be forgotten. Photos by Fort Myers wedding photographer Trenholm Photo.
