Warm Florida summertime sunshine blessed Kristen and Chris’ afternoon nuptials at the Jacksonville wedding venue Epping Forest Yacht Club. Thanks to its waterfront view, sentimental value, vast outdoor ceremony space and expansive patio area for a reception dinner, the club was the couple’s natural choice. When it came time to plan their big day, the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. turned to their friend Corey Jason Brown to plan and execute the details. With an “all white everything” palette in mind, the couple aided in planning an elegant and neutral affair full of crisp white linens, florals and details. After a morning of relaxation and pampering, the bride met her groom on the stairs of the yacht club’s mansion, where the two exchanged sentimental wedding day love letters. Kristen and Chris’ traditional ceremony, officiated by the very same reverend who married the bride’s parents nearly three decades earlier, took place on the vast green lawn. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the patio where miniature versions of favorites like lobster salad and potstickers awaited. The dinner reception followed, where guests dined at long tables dripping with greenery and speckled with various white blooms. The dance floor was the place to be thanks to the band, Diggin Rhythm N Brass, who played an assortment of the newlyweds’ favorite funk tunes.
