So, I did an actual happy dance when I saw these Valentine’s Tea pictures from Rustic White Photography. Posh Tot Events outdid themselves with this too-cute-for-words party. Held just a few days ago, kiddos were treated to not only a literal feast (think macaroons and red velvet cookies to name a few) but also a visual and creative one as well! Crafts galore, a dress-up photo booth, balloons and treat bags? My only question is…can someone host a party like this for adults? Read on for my take on the celebration and a few words from Posh Tot Events.
Tell us about your big party! Posh Tot Events spread their love celebrating Valentine’s Day in a big way this past Saturday, February 10th. They hosted a sold out Valentine’s Tea at their new historic Roswell venue.
As the little one s arrived they were greeted by the friendly members of the Posh Tot Events team along with a loveable clown, Sparkles, from Magic Ladder Entertainment. When it was time for the children to take their tea, they were seated at lavish tea tables decorated with silken pink and red overlays, center pieces that spelled out love and reached soaring new heights with matching red and pink balloons.
The white china that adorned the tables was a sight to see alongside the handwritten valentines notes that were placed as runners. The room was filled with love which included: hanging “couple” hearts like peanut butter hearts jelly, sweetheart balloons, a decadent sweets buffet that included cake pops from Candy Cake Company, gourmet cupcakes from Sucre’, and assorted Valentine treats and trinkets.
Valentine’s Tea was not complete until each guest filled their treat bags to the brim with tasty treats from the bountiful sweets buffet. The children were not the only ones who left with Valentines. Each adult was handed a Posh Tot gift bag with their own special treat, fresh macaroons from Maison Robert.
A good party favor works in conjunction with a beautiful invitation. One sets the tone for the event, and the other makes certain that you leave happy! And since most of us (kid’s too!) don’t need more “stuff,” and edible favor is a sure win! These festive bags are a cute as the treats inside are delicious, I’m sure…
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. There is little cuter (and hilarious!)than a children’s photo booth. The pictures would be a great bonus party favor, but you may want to save them all for a scrapbook of the day. Either way, don’t forget about this fun, interactive party option.
What would a tea party be without a lovely teapot and cups and saucers to sip sweet goodness from? Simple sandwiches (note these have been cut into heart shapes!) pair well with tea, and are easy for little ones to eat. Finger foods rule here!
How the chocoholic in my is rejoicing! Not only do these cupcakes look absolutely delicious — check out that mile high frosting — but the sweet sign atop the display makes the whole plate extra sweet. The mix and match of stripes, prints and varying pinks and reds adds so much spunk and personality to this party.
A big THANK YOU to Posh Tot Events for sharing this sweet Valentine’s Party with us! If you’d like to see more of Posh Tot Events’ work, visit their website at www.poshtotevents.com
