If you’re like me, Dr. Seuss books were a huge part of your childhood. The Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who!, Fox in Socks, Green Eggs and Ham (my personal favorite!) — all of these stories have been read to millions of kids since the 1930s and continue to hold a special place in the hearts of many. That is why these timeless tales were chosen as the theme for this baby shower held at Endive Catering! Red, blue, green, and yellow — bright colors so evocative of childhood — were used throughout the celebration. Glass vases holding bright daisies and billy balls were scattered about the space, set upon stacks of children’s books including Dr. Seuss’s Yertle the Turtle and There’s a Wocket in my Pocket! After enjoying the fine cuisine of Endive Catering and opening her gifts of (what else?) children’s books, the mom-to-be and other guests enjoyed scrumptious pieces of the cake inspired by the Suess story, Oh, Baby, the Places You’ll Go!
