When it came time to throw bride Sam’s shower, her bridesmaids knew a plain-old-proper tea party just wouldn’t do. With the help of Something New for I Do, friends and family celebrated this bride-to-be with a celebratory “tipsy tea party” featuring champagne and select gourmet teas. Guests dressed in their Sunday best and gathered at The Corner District, a warehouse-style venue in North Georgia. Upon their arrival, the ladies picked up vintage handkerchiefs and prepared a cocktail at the champagne bar. The planners kept the affair light by serving traditional tea party bites like cucumber cream cheese sandwiches and other tiny hors d’oeuvres catered and styled by Sweet Sugar Cake Designs. After enjoying the mini fare, Sam cut into a playful vintage teapot-topped confections, baked by Cakes by Carissa. Kelly Anne Photography captured every celebratory moment of this sweet bridal shower.
