From Priscilla: “Fall is something of a double entendre to me because it not only is a season but it represents a time of year that embodies family, giving and food! So I wanted to bring a richness and a coziness to our tablescape that would feel like a feast of sorts…I wanted to focus on jewel tones and brass accents to create a richness and that feast-like feel. We used a rustic farm table, benches and white tufted chairs as a base for our tablescape. We used a beautifully textured navy runner with brass and pewter candlesticks and accents for a nice juxtaposition between rustic and sophisticated. We added amber cut glass goblets and mismatched china to the mix to create an authentic feel Thanksgiving feel.
Let’s face it, if there’s any time of year to bring out your grandmother’s china, it’s Thanksgiving. We incorporated more feast-like inspiration with real fruit including grapes, figs, cranberries as well as mini pumpkins and chestnuts. The gorgeous floral centerpiece by Victoria Warren was a perfect compliment and tied in an earthiness with it’s rich burgundy tones and greenery in a brass compote. The gorgeous placecards and menu were beautifully curated by Shannon Couch and added a touch of whimsy and fun with her use of hand lettered calligraphy and colors. Of course, the photos speak for themselves and the talent of Naomi Chokr.”
