Whether it’s me snapping a photo of a meal I’m going to eat or whether it’s a professional taking photos of a beautiful wedding, I love photography. But one type of photography that I feel isn’t used a lot, but I still love, is Polaroid pictures. Because of technology and the ease of use in point and shot cameras, instant film cameras are becoming less and less used. However, I think a good number of people still love the vintage feel of Polaroid pictures, so these kinds of cameras won’t ever disappear! One major advantage Polaroid pictures have compared to point and shoots are that the photos are instantly printed right after you take it. And this makes for great use during a party or wedding!
Many brides like hanging photos on a stand for decorations or seating assignments. I think Polaroid pictures, compared to regular photos or cards, look the best clipped up by a simple clothes pin. Polaroid pictures have a nice thick “frame” so you won’t have to clothes pin it right onto the picture! This saves the picture from being dented. Perfect? I think so! (via Girly Wedding)
Want a super fun way to incorporate Polaroid pictures into your wedding? Set up a Wedding Polaroid Display! Just use a big cardboard, make a Polaroid picture cut out, and personalize with your wedding details. Hang it up anywhere in your venue, and I’m sure guests will have a blast taking pictures! It’s not a real Polaroid picture, but at least it’ll have the right feel! (via Gros Grain Fabulous)
If you’re looking for a fun way to have pictures of your guests from your big event, look no more! Put out a Polaroid camera by your guestbook, and let the fun begin. Your guests will have their photos taken, paste it into your guestbook, and then they can write a sweet message for you on the side. That way, you’ll always remember who went to your event and forever cherish their well wishes to you! (via Bump Smitten)
